If you are a regular athlete or exercise fanatic you may want to continue exercising during your IUI/IVF cycle. However, during the stimulation phase of your cycle, your ovaries are working extra overtime to produce more follicles and eggs which is caused by increasing the follicle stimulating hormones present in your body. Maintaining a serious exercise activity may be discouraged by your doctor however, you can still exercise. Use caution to avoid feeling light headed or passing out if you participate in vigorous activity. Most women find walking, yoga, light jogging, and bike riding are comfortable and provide stress relief during the cycle.
